This Role...

As a key member of our team, the Quality Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring our high standards of product quality are maintained. From supplier on boarding to physical Inspection of products and stability testing, you will have a direct influence on end-to-end quality assurance throughout our product lifecycle. The successful candidate will strive to become an expert In Quality and deliver on in-house projects

What you need to deliver...

• Lead Lintbells physical inspection of finished goods. Raising non-conformances to Quality Management and third-party manufacturers.

• Facilitate stability and quality testing schedule across our product portfolio, ensuring tests are commissioned at each timepoint, results are trended, analysed, and non-conformances are raised.

• Manage supplier approval/onboarding, requesting and reviewing key documentation and information from prospective suppliers to aid approval

• Manage document control of SOP's, revising, issuing, assigning and archiving SOP's for all departments. Owner of the company training records good practice.

• Raise deviations/non-conformances to Lintbells standards, taking initiative to support investigations, identification of root cause and proposal for corrective action.

• Learn and become autonomous on test results analysis.

• Log work with the tech vet team to investigate customer complaints and adverse events.

• Write and review key departmental SOP's, assuring basic quality principles are followed throughout.

• Support in driving progress towards sustainability/ESG targets.

• Lead and participate in interdepartmental collaborations.

• Provide quality support to ongoing new product innovation projects.

• Manage key projects for the quality department, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

• Support Quality department activities and projects when needed

• Learn from the senior QA member on various topics as opportunities arise.

What you need to succeed…

• Passionate about quality

• A quick learner who is happy to work autonomously from briefs or cross functionally in a team as required on projects and objectives.

• Qualification in sciences desirable, but not essential

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to problem solve and pro-actively seek solutions and raise improvement opportunities.

• Not afraid of getting into tracking, admin and essential follow up tasks to ensure overall success of a project.

• Being able to continually prioritize as things change - identify what makes a task urgent or important and decide which tasks must be tackled first.

• The ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure.

• Good communicator to be able to collaborate and influence well within the business as well as dealing with external providers.

• Organized with strong attention to detail.

• You drive to make things happen, using pragmatism and logic like a true ‘self-starter.’

• You are enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and willing to challenge the status quo.
