This Role...

This role is dedicated to the regulatory compliance of our products and activities to the applicable laws. This covers the UK, US and any other international markets. It is also role is a key contributor as a regulatory expert in the field of complementary animal feed and previous experience within the supplement industry is highly desirable.

What you need to deliver...

• Label and content compliance according to applicable laws and Lintbell’s internal standards.

• Ingredient compliance from onboarding process to registrations where necessary (EU).

• Keeping up with changes to regulations, including attending training and seminars.

• Regulatory research and advice for NPD, EPD & ad hoc projects.

• Writing guidance/training materials and SOPs where relevant.

• Liaising and negotiating with our EU representative in the best interest of the business and animal safety.

• Familiar with import/export paperwork, including ABP Information advising on EHC questions and checking EU shipments.

• Sign off formulations to share with manufacturers for production.

• Review proposed specifications from QA and R&D for regulatory compliance.

• A sound knowledge of the design and execution of clinical studies to demonstrate our products benefits and efficacy towards the animal's general health is desirable but not essential.

• Providing support to the Compliance Manager

• To be responsible for successful delivery of BAU tasks and reporting within your function

What you need to succeed…

• Proven track record in a regulatory environment essential, food/feed experience desirable.

• Pharmaceutical knowledge on medicinal registration and clinical study design Is desirable but not essential.

• Technical mindset, able to troubleshoot and investigate technical problems, suggesting possible causes and solutions.

• Business mindset to advise a company on suitable regulatory strategies to benefit a fast entry to market and robust position against competitor's challenges.

• Autonomous mindset to lead and close projects.

• Experience using quality management systems (QMS) desirable.

• Able to deal with ambiguity well, pro-actively seeking out solutions and making recommendations.

• Experience with onboarding new raw material (compliance to feed register, catalogue, etc) desirable.

• Strong prioritisation skills, able to communicate priorities and flag challenges when priorities conflict.

• Confident interpersonal skills to negotiate, push back and make the occasional unpopular decision In the Interest of the company reputation of animal wellbeing.

• The ability to use your initiative and work calmly under pressure.

• Good communicator, able to collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders.

• Organised, with strong attention to detail.

• You drive to make things happen, using pragmatism and logic like a true ‘self-starter’.

• You are enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and willing to challenge the status quo.

• You are a team player – we’re a close-knit team!

• Qualification in sciences desirable, but not essential.
