This Role...

Your purpose will be to champion excellence in product quality, minimising risk and driving continuous improvement of our products and processes. As a Senior Quality Executive, you will be the driving force of the team, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Lintbells products remain safe, effective and compliant.

What you need to deliver...

• Implement and improve quality assurance strategies, policies and procedures throughout the business, with oversight and input from the Quality and Compliance Managers.

• Support and manage junior members of the team.

• Lead the raw material approval process, ensuring all new raw materials are risk assessed and approved by the R&D, Quality and Regulatory departments.

• Lead and regularly review the testing program for new and existing products, developing testing specifications and verifying compliance with Lintbells standards.

• Lead the drive to improve internal data analytics, trending and KPI's.

• Raise deviations/non-conformances to Lintbells standards, taking steps to investigate thoroughly, identify root cause and propose corrective action.

• Implement CAPA's to address deviations/non-conformance with Lintbells standards.

• Develop and manage the change control process, assessing impact and providing key quality insight to facilitate and manage change.

• Firsthhand contribution to embed ESG as part of our quality processes.

• Provide technical insight and support to troubleshoot ingredient/product problems.

• Write and review key departmental/business SOP’s.

• Collaborate with the project management team to provide key quality insight for new product launches.

• Manage projects for the quality department, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

• Support onboarding of a digital product and quality management system, designing and mapping key processes and data.

• Support the rest of the Quality department activities as and when needed.

What you need to succeed…

• Proven track record in a quality/manufacturing function essential, food/feed desirable.

• A desire and/or experience to lead, manage and develop junior members of the team.

• Technical mindset, able to troubleshoot and investigate technical problems, suggesting possible causes and solutions.

• Autonomous mindset to lead and close investigation on quality issues.

• Working knowledge of industry standards (GMP, BRC, ISO9001)

• Comfortable with lab testing results, performing calculations and analysing data in excel.

• Experience using quality management systems desirable.

• Able to deal with ambiguity well, pro-actively seeking out solutions and making recommendations.

• Strong prioritisation skills, able to communicate priorities and flag challenges when priorities conflict.

• Confident team and quality leader, comfortable challenging current processes to ensure they are as efficient and fit for purpose as possible.

• The ability to use your initiative and work calmly under pressure.

• Good communicator, able to collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders.

• Organised, with strong attention to detail.

• You drive to make things happen, using pragmatism and logic like a true ‘self-starter’.

• You are enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and willing to challenge the status quo.

• You are a team player – we’re a close-knit team!

• Qualification in sciences desirable, but not essential
